Life had become unrecognizable to Gift. Eight months have passed since the insurrection that changed everything and shook the foundations upon which they had believed their colony to have been built. Life in New Europa was far from what people believed it was. It now brought new adventures and new neighbors. Communication and regular trade with The Russian Federation was going well. It was the dawn of a new era for humanity. Seeing her new position as for the good of the colony stayed off Gift’s anxiety, mostly. This new life kept Gift and Raffaella busy in their roles as Board members and on various of its committees. Unsure of herself still, Gift was doing her best to settle into her new position-still wearing on her like Matteo’s oversized tee-shirt. What new challenges awaited? What unimaginable obstacles were about to manifest for Gift and her friends?
