The poems in this book are given to you in the order written. They depict my journey, as I became a believer in Jesus Christ. I sincerely hope you will come to the conclusion I have, that I received these words as a gift from God. God, I believe, gave me this gift so that I could no longer deny His existence. This gift was my salvation! It is my hope that others will read these words, and become believers, themselves, or strengthen the faith they already have. About the Author: Vernon Kadell was born in Hillsboro, Oregon, in 1953, but did not receive his faith until 2010, when he began attending a neighborhood Evangelical Christian church. Shortly after Vernon began attending this church, he began receiving the Word, through his gift of poetry, from the Lord. Vernon has continuously grown in his faith, still attending that same church. Vernon reads his poems during the services, nearly every week.
