In 2011, Rafael Polo, an officer in the Venezuelan Military Aviation, was appointed to fulfill a state mission in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Upon completion of the mission, he chose to visit the city of Guaratinguetá in the interior of São Paulo, where he had been trained at the School of Aeronautics Specialists twenty-one years earlier. He contacted Renata, his former girlfriend, and they arranged to meet again. Upon arriving in the city, he began to recall his past experiences as he walked to the reunion of his first love at the age of seventeen. The story is filled with emotion, adventure, and eroticism. The story unfolds in his memories while he is sitting on a bench in a square in the center of the city where he would meet Renata. It was the first time they would see each other after more than two decades had passed. The love that could not be but that lasted through time is revealed in the end. The true reason that separated them is revealed and forced them to take different paths, changing their lives definitively.
