Claimed by the Alpha Bear

Fated mates, a scientist chasing answers, and a relentless shifter who won’t let her go-can Ginny outrun destiny, or will the Alpha bear catch what’s already his? GinnyI came to Phantom Peaks, Montana, with one goal: prove the bears in these mountains are unlike anything the scientific world has ever seen.As a wildlife biologist finishing my PhD, this research is everything-my career, my reputation, my future. The university is counting on me to uncover evidence of a unique genetic strain hidden deep within these forests. And I will find it.What I don’t expect... is to become part of the mystery. When a tracking mission goes sideways, I find myself in a situation no amount of training could have prepared me for-until he shows up. Brock Wilder. Massive. Intense. Unforgettable. He saves me like it’s nothing. But that’s not the strangest part. The next day, when I catch him watching me in the woods, he doesn’t deny it. Doesn’t apologize. Doesn’t leave.Instead, he tells me something impossible. That I belong to him.I almost laugh. He doesn’t.Because, according to Brock, I’m right about the bears of Phantom Peaks...They are different. And he’s about to prove it in a way that will change everything I thought I knew-about science, about this mountain... and about myself. BrockI’ve always preferred the quiet. As Alpha of the Phantom Peaks bear clan, it’s my duty to protect our territory-the wild stretches beyond the wolf packs, where solitary shifters roam and secrets stay buried. It’s a life of responsibility, distance... and control. For years, that’s been enough.Until my bear starts to push.Hard.At 38, there’s no ignoring it anymore. The pull. The need. The certainty that somewhere out there is the one made for me.And then I catch her scent.Fiery. Stubborn. Human.Mine.Ginny Reed walks into my territory chasing answers, not realizing she is the answer. My answer. My mate. She may not understand the bond. May not accept it.But that doesn’t change the truth. And my bear has waited long enough. The scientist came here to prove a theory-That the bears of Phantom Peaks are different. She’s right. Now it’s time to show her exactly what that means... and what it means to belong to an Alpha bear. In the misty mountains of Phantom Peaks, shifters rule a hidden world, where danger and desire collide. In this untamed realm shaped by instinct, Bloodlines, and ancient law, fated mates are more than a promise-they are a destiny that cannot be broken.
