Este libro se ocupa de la producción cultural de la ciudad latinoamericana contemporánea: ciudades caóticas cuyo ideal de orden se ha fragmentado y en las que los muros de la ciudad letrada se han vuelto porosos. Las nuevas y múltiples rutas urbanas –que se superponen, se cruzan y chocan entre sí– son las que escriben la ciudad postmoderna.
