One night, one of the cities is attacked andburned to the ground by a mysterious being akin to the Sentinels, whobelieves the Sentinels of Anathema are evil and seeks to slaughter allof them and all of their people.He films himself committing the holocaust and leaves the filmin one of the Sentinels’ cities so they find it. The Sentinels keepthis attack under wraps and send The Jackal after the massmurderer, but this only leads to him planting information in TheJackal’s mind in an attempt to pit the Sentinels against each other.
