The story unfolds extraordinary vivid at a place and point made all the more palpable by the heat and humidity that can only erupt into the thunder and lightning storms reflecting the awful beauty of an arson in the sky. Full of sex and ruthless violence, the journey through this novel is equal to an emotional roller-coaster ride parallel to the highs and lows of a lifestyle spent trying to stay alive long enough to live up to some of the ideals he set for himself.
