La segunda se titula Mizu shin, (el espíritu del agua) un espíritu o expresión Zen que utiliza el autor para que comprendamos la práctica real de la mente de no dejarse atrapar por nuestro 'ego' ni materialidad. Para ello, el poeta usa expresiones y reflexiones cortantes procedentes de antiguos kusenes mezclado de profundos poemas inspirados en la tradición china.
