God is a God of signs and wonders; so are His children. His thoughtsand ways are higher than ours:'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higherthan your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts' (Isaiah 55:9).We call them signs and wonders because they are beyond this worldand above human understanding. We should not attempt reasoningthem out with our natural mind. We may not be able to explain Hissigns and wonders but we can believe and receive them.Ecclesiastes 11:5 says, 'As thou knowest not what is the way of thespirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child:even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.'anks be to God that He has given us the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), therefore we can relate with His wonderful acts and worshipHim for that. We are for signs and wonders because we are like ourFather. erefore, refuse to think according to the natural order ofthings; refuse to live natural. We are born for signs and wonders. Godwants His children to be aware that He carries them along supernaturally. His dealings that brought Israel out of Egyptian captivity werenot natural but supernatural. e Bible says,'And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain saying, us shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself '(Exodus 19:3-4).Psalms 105:26-27 says, 'He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whomhe had chosen. ey shewed his signs among them, and wonders inthe land of Ham.'David took time to tell us all the wonders God did to bring Israel outof Egypt in Psalms 105:26-45. is means by signs and wonders, Godhas brought us out of sin and the bondage of the devil and He will continue to carry us into our inheritance by signs and wonders, untilJesus comes. Christianity, therefore, is a miraculous journey of life. Toposition yourself for this life of signs and wonders, you must do thefollowing:1. Refuse to think naturally. To think natural is to lose your effect as a child of God. Proverbs 23:7says, 'For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he....' e Bible directs usto a God who is a Spirit. e Bible teaches us about angels that cannotbe seen in the natural realm. e New Testament is full of instructionsconcerning the Holy Spirit. In spite of these, many Christians are leout of the blessings of the supernatural. In Genesis 28:10-16, Jacobmade a very important statement aer a supernatural encounter withGod. 'And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lordis in this place; and I knew it not' (Genesis 28:16). Jacob came to aplace, made himself a pillow and lay down to sleep. He had a supernatural experience during the night. When he woke up in the morning he said, 'e Lord was in this place, and I knew it not.' is the story of many believers. e Lord is with them and they don’t even know it.
