Beginning the next day, the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, the high day Sabbath, a Thursday, one of seven “annual Sabbaths days,” religious and political leaders began to conspire to stop the Messiah from rising (see Matthew 27:62–66). Together, they have continued to think to change times and laws of the living God.
