Sobre IBD

The poems were written at different times and through several years. Linda would have those moments in life that were impressed on her mind. The words take you to the crystal sea, guardian angels, love’s mystery, and the ever-present desire for contentment. Loving, inspirational, impactful, and meaningful words from the Lord.We pray that you will become closer to God as you look at things in a different perspective.Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be as the tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

In an era of social crisis and change at the end of the 19th century, the German poet Stefan George created a modern social imaginary for homosexual men. The newly-coined term ’homosexual’ gave expression to an emerging category of modern man. But in discovering himself, the modern homosexual found little resonance in the society around him. Through his poetry George created a ...

Poetry plays an important role in the Bible, and this suggests it should have some role in the life of Christian faith. The essay in this book argues that Christians today must rediscover the role of poetry in the life of faith, and that some, at least, should be open to receiving a calling to poetry as part of their service to the Lord. ...
