Dabei erfolgt zunächst eine generelle Erörterung der historischenGegebenheiten der Entstehungszeit des Stückes sowie der politischen Position des Autors. Anschließend soll Grabbes Kritik anhand einer Charakteristik der Nebenfiguren in Don Juan und Faust, Don Gusman, Signor Negro und Signor Rubio sowie den beiden Protagonisten herausgearbeitet werden. Ein abschließendes Fazit zu den Ergebnissenbezüglich der Haltung der Protagonisten gegenüber ihrer Zeit folgt schließlich als letzter Punkt.
