When the Lord calls or chooses us for his purpose we feel that we are ready to go forth in our calling at that particular time. However, that is rarely the case. We must all go through a preparation period. If we do not go though that training period, we will not be able to handle the situations that will arise as we work in our ministries. Rejection, lack of self confidence, self limitation, and impatience are only a few of the issues that the Lord must address in order to participate in His Kingdom building. Like Jesus, our Heavenly Father wants to bring us forth in the power of His Spirit. Dr. Smith explains that when your training is complete you will be well prepared to go forth to fulfill your purpose, in the power and the anointing of God.
