22 polytraumatisierte und septische Patienten einer Intensiv station wurden im Rahmen einer Doppelblindstudie mit Pirenzepin bzw. Placebo behandelt. Alle Patienten wurden wahrend des Beob achtungszeitraumes in 14 Tagen dreimal endoskopiert. Ohne Pro phylaxe waren 100% StreB-Lasionen zu beobachten, 60% wiesen Blu tungen auf. Eine prophylaktische, intravenose Pirenzepin-Gabe hatte einen eindeutig protektiven Effekt im Hinblick auf die StreB-Blutung, Anzahl und Schweregrad der StreB-Lasionen. Summary Twenty-two severely ill patients with multinle injuries and sepsis were treated with IV pirenzepin or placebo 3 x 10 mg per day in the frame of the double-blind study. All the patients were examined three times with endoscopy during the 14-day ob servation period. In 100% of cases without prophylactic treat ment, stress lesions were observed, 60% of these cases had bleeding. A prophylactic IV pirenzepin application had an un mistakable protective effect regarding the stress bleeding, number and degree of stress lesions. Literatur 1.
