Nasze badanie jest częścią podejścia opartego na zrównoważonym rozwoju, materiałach nadających się do recyklingu i ochronie środowiska naturalnego, w celu zminimalizowania lub wyeliminowania odpadów, takich jak oczyszczone miejskie ścieki stałe (osady ściekowe) z oczyszczalni ścieków kompleksu GL1/Z i separatorów oleju (CPS), w celu odzysku rolniczego dla osadów sanitarnych i odzysku energii dla osadów olejowych. Wyniki analiz wykazały, że osad sanitarny zawiera niezbędne składniki odżywcze dla gleby w ramach ogólnego programu nawożenia upraw. Stężenia metali ciężkich: kadmu (Cd), chromu (Cr), miedzi (Cu), niklu (Ni), ołowiu (Pb) i cynku (Zn) są poniżej wymaganych norm.Zgodnie z uzyskanymi wynikami osady zaolejone zawierają bardzo wysoki poziom zużytego oleju, co przyczynia się do ich wykorzystania jako paliwa zastępczego w piecach cementowych lub wielkich piecach w odlewniach. Zasadą jest wykorzystanie zawartości energii w materii organicznej w wysuszonym osadzie, ponieważ jego wartość opałowa jest bardzo wysoka, zbliżona do wartości metanu.
