'This book is a collection of research papers by sinologist Wang Anguo, providing readers in the Chinese speaking world with another perspective on reading.本書為漢學家王安國的研究論文集，為華文世的讀者帶來另一種閱讀視角。Professor Jeffrey Riegel, a sinologist, is renowned for his research on pre Qin literature. This book includes representative papers by Professor Wang from the 1970s to 2010. The book consists of five parts, with the first and second parts covering philosophical studies such as the Book of Songs, Mencius, Mozi, Lun Yu, and L ü shi Chunqiu. The third part includes his investigation of the gods ''Jumang'' and ''Shushou'' during the Warring States period, as well as his analysis of ancient Chinese ghosts, gods, and arrow target witchcraft. The fourth part compares unearthed documents such as Guodian Chu bamboo slips with the text of the Book of Rites, explores the genealogy of the Ruzi and Wei families through the Records of the Grand Historian and the Book of Changes, and examines the reconstruction of philosophical literature by Qing Dynasty scholars and the line inscriptions in the Book of Changes. The fifth part discusses the history and literature of the Qin Dynasty from an archaeological perspective, including Qin Shi Huang and his tomb, as well as the reasons for the rise of the Qin state.
