It crosses the global cultural and geographical landscape, from the Harvard campus to the Swedish academy, from academic elite to the religious leaders, from poets, writers to educators, also covering the entertainment stars. It is a crossover, and belongs to the cultural field. There is a common characteristic of the interview objects, which is that these people are of great love and sense of responsibility, with burden and angry. Their voices are with marginality. Even though they originate from cultural center, their thoughts seem to be some 'awkward' and untimely. Of course, they are all personal. The most powerful is fragile. The awkward is not coy, but the germplasm and strength, angel and toughness. These thoughts’ thermodynamic inspires us to cross the threshold of hope - universal, connecting with the history and future. China inclines to be in the center, and Southern Weekly is the principal axis of contemporary Chinese thought and traditional engine.
