L’objet de la recherche est les catégories évaluatives des concepts 'bons' et 'mauvais' en anglais et en ouzbek, qui sont considérées comme le résultat de la catégorisation évaluative des objets de la réalité et des entités abstraites. Dans ce travail, N.N. Boldirev entend par catégorisation évaluative la corrélation mentale d’un objet ou d’un phénomène avec une certaine catégorie axiologique (aspect dynamique), ou le regroupement d’objets et de phénomènes en fonction de la nature de leur évaluation dans les catégories évaluatives correspondantes, c’est-à-dire un système de catégories évaluatives (aspect statique) (Boldirev 2002). La spécificité de l’objet réside dans le fait que les catégories d’évaluation ne sont pas directement liées au monde réel.
