Book five in the Mack and Carly adventure series takes the reader back to the islands for a harrowing tale of a long awaited reunion of dear friends that turns into a terrifying experience. The long dormant volcano, Kick ’em Jenny, becomes active and threatens major devastation to the islands in the region. This threat is compounded when one of the friends visiting Mack and Carly goes missing during a nighttime storm. The search for their friend, Sophia, is greatly hampered by the effects of the volcanic activity and resulting tsunamis. A dangerous, evil man is suspected of having a role in Sophia’s disappearance.
