Lo studio geotermico del territorio ucraino è unico. È stata creata una rete di determinazioni del flusso di calore terrestre (EHF) in 13.000 pozzi. Tutti i valori di TP sono stati corretti tenendo conto dell’influenza del paleoclima, degli straripamenti non orizzontali delle acque sotterranee, delle strutture geologiche, delle spinte e della giovane sedimentazione. Sono state costruite mappe dei TP profondi (corretti). In termini di densità della rete, non ha analoghi tra le mappe di aree comparabili. È stato sviluppato un sistema di interpretazione che consente di costruire modelli termici della crosta e del mantello superiore tenendo conto di fonti di calore stazionarie e non stazionarie, ed è stato effettuato il loro controllo indipendente. È stata studiata la distribuzione della densità delle risorse geoenergetiche dell’Ucraina. La loro quantità totale supera di 25 volte le riserve di tutti i minerali combustibili.
