Camino del diablo: Camino del Diablo es una historia de hechos reales que ocurrieron 1991-1996. El agente de la DEA Larry Hardin y dos investigadores privados, Jeff Pearce y Randy Torgerson, estaban decididos a derribar a la organización Garcia a lo largo de la frontera suroeste. Durante cinco años, los tres hombres encabezaron dos investigaciones separadas y simultáneas en diferentes lugares que eventualmente se fusionaron. Jeff y Randy proporcionaron información a Larry para construir su caso cuando descubrieron que los Garcia estaban trabajando con empleados corruptos de su cliente de California.
