Ausgehend von Camillo Sittes Werk, dessen Ideen ausführlich besprochen werden, wird darauf folgend die Garden City besprochen. Im Zusammenhang mit dieser werden Protagonisten der englischen Gartenstadtbewegung eingeführt, die im Zusammenhang zu Camillo Sitte standen und seine Ideen aufgriffen. Abschließend wird die Gartenstadtbewegung in Deutschland angerissen, um am Beispiel der Gartenstadt Nürnberg ganz konkret umgesetzte Parallelen zum Werk Sittes in einer Gartenstadt zu finden. 3
