Diplomacy is the science and practice of international relations through which Cameroon orchestrates its international deployment. Cameroon’s international deployment is based on a set of mechanisms and a frantic quest for development and influence. Cameroon’s foreign policy finds real expansion through the mastery of financial capital, the cornerstone of every player’s international initiative. Cameroon, which did not seem to have grasped this international equation in its diplomatic approach, crowned with glory and audacity, finds itself overshadowed by the unpredictability of international life, which inflects its expansion, leading to passivity. This inflection is due to the economic crisis and the restructuring of the international chessboard imposed by the globalization paradigm. As a result, Cameroonian diplomacy is building and adopting a passive posture to operate on the world stage. This diplomatic passivity, which is based on a realistic approach to a world in turmoil, will reveal its purpose.
