Questo lavoro presenta le regolazioni della curva per gli spettri delle goccioline misurate dalla sonda FSSP, nonché i test di sensibilità per il modello RAMS 6.0, nel suo modulo di microfisica delle nuvole, al fine di ottenere una migliore configurazione di questo modello per lo Stato di Ceará-Brasile. La metodologia utilizzata si basa su confronti tra i risultati del modello e le osservazioni raccolte attraverso l’Esperimento di Microfisica delle Nuvole (EMfiN!), condotto nella città di Fortaleza-Ce-Brasile nel periodo dal 1° al 12 aprile 2002. Sono state effettuate simulazioni di sensibilità modificando la concentrazione delle goccioline delle nuvole e il parametro di forma della distribuzione gamma. L’obiettivo è quello di trovare una configurazione adeguata alle condizioni locali e, di conseguenza, una migliore rappresentazione del comportamento dei sistemi convettivi sullo Stato di Ceará, in Brasile. Per confrontare i risultati delle simulazioni con la realtà, sono state utilizzate immagini radar meteorologiche raccolte durante l’EMfiN!
