BUT GOD, a book that I began writing over twenty-five years ago, highlights the trials and tribulations faced while going through one of the darkest and most challenging times in my life. I was facing prison as a newborn believer. This book shows how God was with me through it all, showing me my downfalls, selfish and demonic ways, thoughts, and the things that were not of Him. Things that were and would continue to hinder my walk with Him. While showing me myself, God was also using me to show compassion to others as they were going through their own wilderness situations. God used me to bring hope to others and to offer His gift of salvation. God showed Himself mighty and strong, the all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present God who truly works all things out for the good of those who love Him never left nor forsook me, being always faithful. God used what should have captured me, destroyed me, and turned me from Him, instead to set me free and draw me closer to Him. Who would have known these three months in the penal system would be the vehicle that changed my life for the better?...Who knew indeed...BUT GOD!
