Dr. Meewah Bell began Truth Ministries Outreach & H.Y.P.E (Helping Young People Elevate) Ministries in 2002 due to a deep hunger and passion to be obedient to God in helping His people that were going through various difficult challenges in their lives. The purpose, as an outreach Ministry, is to teach and show forth God’s word with truth, love and conviction. The mission scripture is: 'And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.' Matthew 15:16. Within Truth Ministries, she discusses such topics as:DepressionLonelinessStressSexualityMarriageHow to pray ...and everything else God places on her heart... Within H.Y.P.E. Ministries, she deals the all types of issues that are affection the children and Young Adults, such as:SexRelationshipsHomosexualityAs both Ministries continue to grow, She will have special Bible Studies to cater to women, men, and children separately, once a month. These Bible Studies will mainly be discussions in which questions can be asked as people seek understanding, guidance and deliverance concerning certain situations they may be facing daily.She wants the Ministries to be a blessing unto the community by organizing a Street Ministry in which she will talk candidly with the people in the community to find out their needs so the Ministry can be efficient in providing them. Dr. Bell believes that, 'people will see more of God in what you do than just what you say! We are blessed to be a blessing!'Dr. Bell uses her talent as a Beautician as the platform to minister to the many people that come through the doors of her salon, Meewah J Boutique & Salon, located in Temple Hills, MD. While shampooing and curling her clients, she’s also ministering, encouraging, praying and standing in the gap for them and their families.
