This story is about how an earth person and his talking dog transcend into the new life in an Alien civilization and play important roles in great action that tests their abilities to the bitter limit and how the talking dog and his 'papa' Chester grow closer together doing incredible journeys that only a talking dog could help develop. It also conveys the notion of how such a talking dog could impact a marriage.
