The source of his balance: but Peter hit two walls when he began to focus on the wind. Instead of asking himself, 'who is keeping me afloat?' he asks, 'how suddenly will I be blown over and drown?' After having accomplished something none of us could imagine doing today, Peter sank because he allowed his eyes and perception to become walls that would halt his steps from pursuing Jesus. He became convinced of fear more than he was given to faith. All he had to do was keep walking, keep going until he embraced Jesus in the sea.'
