Raphaella Adamidou works at 'Black Diamond', the oil company owned by her Uncle Dimitris. The company was given to Dimitris as a gift by Sheikh Al-Raya after he and his best friend Miltos saved the Sheikh’s only son, Kalem, from an attempted murder orchestrated by his twin brother, Hassid...When Raphaella was eighteen, her boyfriend Nicholas was lethally wounded during a fencing match. Later, her best friends Constantinos and Ermione were badly injured...Sheikh Al-Raya, confessing a secret story to Dimitris and Miltos, recalls his childhood in the village of Lafar. On a night when the villagers lit fires all around and sat listening to old stories, he and his girlfriend Nafalte walked to the shores of Lake Vai. Suddenly, one star ripped through the darkness and fell into the lake, creating many colors, sparkles, and a Blue Rose, belonging to the Garden of the Hesperides, appeared on the surface of the waters...At the grand dancing ball held to honor Sheikh Al-Raya, an insignificant event triggers Raphaella’s buried memories... leading her into a coma. In that liminal space, Raphaella meets Goddess Eos, the Keeper of the Garden of the Hesperides, Antares, Galatios, Sirius... and the Sacred Blue Rose...
