This paper provides basic knowledge about attachment analysis according to Raffai and Hidas. It gives a general description of attachment theory, takes a closer look at the physiological development of the child during pregnancy, explains the method of attachment analysis and then supplements it with current studies. The development of the child during pregnancy is described in more detail, divided into the first, second and third trimesters. The needs of the child and negative influences on the child are also described. The development of attachment analysis, the background and objectives of the method, the course of the sessions, the importance of the partner, various exercises to promote mother-child bonding, and experiences during pregnancy and around the time of birth are also discussed.
