Scott Porter, institutionalized at the age of twenty in a state institution for the developmentally delayed. Ironically, Scott is not developmentally delayed. He suffers from a hereditary neorological disease, Huntington’s chorea, which Scott admits is 'one of Mother Nature’s cruelest jokes.'
