I wanted to write about my experiences, stories, legacy, and contribution to the beauty industry. Over the years, customers have asked questions about what I do, and were curious about my experience and years of working as a barber. So I thought I would share my experiences and stories with you. It’s not a secret that to develop a craft consistent practice is needed. Some people are born with the gift some aren’t. No matter the situation. If you invest in the effort required, you will succeed.This literature was written for readers who enjoy the story telling and also, for the ones that love going to the barbershop and want to know more about what’s going on behind the chair. I narrate my story since I grab my first pair of clippers.I started to cut hair very young and I needed to wait until I was old enough to go to barber school. The ambition trying to get the best out of my talent, took me by destiny to work with different people, environments and different cultures. Modern hairstyling and barbering are complicated and very physically demanding. That’s because all of the new trends and new haircuts are very elaborated. Now more than ever, our job is a craft. We are doing a sculpture and also keeping in mind that we have to make a living. We can’t be a month doing our masterpiece. This book will help you to understand the barbers perspective. This is only my story, it could be different for another barber. After three decades working as a barber, I decided to write this literature that I’m confident you will enjoy.
