Gleaned from now yellowed notebooks, typewritten on cheap paper, loose in boxes or pasted in journals, some electronic, recovered from old hard drives right before they were drowned, some from books in progress, some from books published, the author has gleaned writings from nearly 60 years of work, including poems, plays, ditties and such. The venues and attitudes speak of the times told, some oh so innocent, oh so 20th century, some jaded and burnt out, some composed under the influence of whatever was passing by at the time, some, dream snatches.
