In the mouths of Méliane and El Bey where the C27/C29 ratio is close to unity, which makes these compounds pollution indicators.PAHs in the mouths of Méliane, El Bey and in the Khlij canal come from socio-economic activities manifested by the discharge of residues of petroleum origin.
