Im vorliegenden Buch wurden biologische Korrelate des sowohl krankheitsspezifischen als auch diagnose}bergreifenden Syn- droms'Angst bei unterschiedlichen psychiatrischen Diagnose- gruppen erfa~t. Sowohl psychophysiologische (Herzfrequenz, Hautleitwert, Hautleitreaktion) als auch biochemische Para- meter (Noradrenalin, Adrenalin, Cortisol) wurdenunter un- terschiedlichen experimentellen Bedingungen untersucht und potentielle Effekte externer Einflu~gr|~en auf die erhobenen Parameter in Rechnung gestellt. Dabei konnte gezeigt werden, da~ biochemische und psychophysiologische Korrelate von Angst diagnose}bergreifend nachweisbar sind. Externe Einflu~ gr|~en wie Art der Belastungssituation, Untersuchungsdesign und Instruktion zeigen jedoch unterschiedliche Effekte auf die Ausgangswerte sowie die Reaktionsverl{ufe physiologi- scher und biochemischer Parameter und stellen einen erheb- lichen Einflu~faktor dar. Die in der vorliegenden Arbeit er- hobenen Befunde belegen somit die Notwendigkeit, bei der For mulierung biologischer Angstmodelle psychologische Variablen zu ber}cksichtigen.
