Born in the Bronx, NY, as Christopher Krawczuk, I resettled in the Poughkeepsie area and attended High School there.Shortly after graduation, I enlisted in the US Navy and served in Hawaii as a hospital corpsman. I attended college there and studied sciences, humanities, and mathematics. I had a deep desire for literature, specifically Poetry. I loved TS Elliot, Theodore Roethke, and Robert Frost.I developed a deep understanding of lyrics and poetry at an early age, often analyzing the meaning of song lyrics. In the early 1980s, I began to dabble in writing after taking college courses at the University of Hawaii, Manoa. Early influences were singer/songwriter Dan Folgerberg, Theodore Roethke, Kahlil Gibran, T.S. Elliot, and whatever musical lyrics made me think of a better place.I am a good photographer, as you will see in the book. I became a self-proclaimed existentialist in my early twenties and have always believed that there are answers everywhere, and reasons why life happens.Back to New York... In 1985, I earned a degree from The Culinary Institute of America and pursued that vocation for approximately twenty years. I have always held a high regard for nature, landscape, and people in general. I have a keen eye for detail and take whatever offering becomes me.I am currently working as a nurse, where humanity and diversity have inspired me more.At present, I have compiled a selection of poetry that represents my views from inspiration. Writing poetry is a gift that I respect in any form. Often with hidden meanings and the use of metaphor, it entertains and challenges the reader to think... What if?Currently, in my golden years, I take nothing for granted and have come to learn that life is a gift. And to share a talent is giving. Please enjoy this collection; it was both a pleasure and a privilege to complete. I thank humanity for the inspiration.

Wyoming is the least-populated state in America, and it is filled with long, silent stretches of prairie, mountains that see snowfall every month of the year, and a red desert filled with sand dunes and the fossilized past.
