Humanity has always struggled with the battle between good and evil, be it with their personal selves, communities, states, governments or nations. I’ve always been infatuated with Dante’ Alighieri and his book, 'Dante’s Inferno,' in fact with my name also being Dante’ and my love for writing (particularly poetry) since I was a child, I’ve felt a connection with him and as I’ve grown through time, had my own experiences and watched the world change during my short forty years, I at times see it all as an inferno and we are all experiencing the many levels of this sometimes dark place, but beyond this inferno is the current place where we all dwell, and this reality for some is an earthly hell, especially for those in the inner cities, the street walkers, those addicted to drugs and the many other hardships that are part of the ghettos and cities all over the world. Hold strong onto hope all that enter here!
