Through this book, I aim to explore how China’s domestic reforms, foreign policy initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative, and technological advancements are redefining the world’s geopolitical landscape.Equally important is China’s growing engagement with the Global South-Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia-and its commitment to reshaping institutions and alliances, such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. I believe this story cannot be fully understood without examining the broader shifts in global power, diplomacy, and economic integration that this engagement reflects.This book is written for scholars, students, policymakers, and curious readers who want to understand China’s role in the evolving global order.
