Das Experiment wurde in Gwagwalada (GWA), Kwali (KWA) und Abuja Municipal Area Councils (AMAC) im Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja durchgeführt. Die Studie konzentriert sich auf das Ausmaß der Praxis des Climate Smart Cropping System im Federal Capital Territory FCT, Abuja, Nigeria. Die Studie wurde mit einer Stichprobe von 150 Landwirten durchgeführt. Es zeigte sich, dass zu viele der CSCS-Praktiken der Mehrheit der Befragten (82) nicht bekannt waren, so dass sich die Anwendung von Climate Smart in diesen Gebieten auf einem sehr niedrigen Niveau befindet. Im GWA-Gebiet war das CSC-Bewusstsein mit 34% am höchsten, gefolgt vom AMAC-Gebiet mit 8% CSC-Bewusstsein und 12% CSC-Bewusstsein in Kwali. Die Empfehlungen zu diesen Ergebnissen lauten, die Bemühungen um Sensibilisierung, Schulung und Unterstützungsprogramme zu CSA zu intensivieren, um die Landwirte dazu zu bringen, klimafreundliche landwirtschaftliche Praktiken zu übernehmen. Eine nachhaltige Landwirtschaft erfordert eine breitere Veränderung in der Gesellschaft, um das Gleichgewicht zwischen Landwirtschaft und Umweltveränderungen zu schätzen.
