Seit einiger Zeit hat sich an verstreuten Orten ein Diskussionsfeld gebildet, auf dem methodologische und methodische Fragen der Verbindung von Systemtheorie und Hermeneutik verhandelt werden. Dieses Diskussionsfeld wird hier erstmals in gebündelter und systematisierter Form vorgestellt. Im Zentrum dabei steht die Frage, welche Herausforderungen die Hermeneutik und die neueren Entwicklungen des Konstruktivismus aneinander stellen und mit welchen Mitteln diese Herausforderungen bewältigt werden können. Der Begriff 'konstruktivistische Hermeneutik' bezeichnet diese Problemstellung, die in den Beiträgen dieses Bandes aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven (Dekonstruktion, Diskursanalyse, hermeneutische Wissenssoziologie) abgegrenzt und durch Brückenschläge zwischen Systemtheorie und Hermeneutik (vor allem objektiver Hermeneutik und Konversationsanalyse) bearbeitet wird.
