'Belluno Ieri e Oggi, Cronache del passato' raccoglie una serie di storie legate alla Provincia di Belluno. Una quarantina di articoli e racconti brevi, che inizia con un episodio del 1400 riguardante i 'Longobardi di Cirvoi', e termina nel 2008, con le testimonianze e le riflessioni dei parlamentari bellunesi Orsini, Neri, De Paoli e Crema sulla politica di ieri e oggi. Al centro vi sono le cronache del passato, in particolare del Ventennio fascista, con le visite a Belluno di Starace, il famoso discorso 'Burro o cannoni' di Mussolini.Fatti che avrebbero anche potuto cambiare il corso della grande storia. Come il cosiddetto incontro di Feltre tra i due dittatori Hitler e Mussolini, con il retroscena del progetto dell’attentato il che non ci fu, raccontato da Armando Bettiol, uno dei protagonisti della vicenda. Duecento pagine in stile prettamente giornalistico, per ogni genere di lettore.
