In 'Beautiful Agony' Jodi Lacroix from Mass of the Ages: Episode II: A Perfect Storm tells the story of how Jodi’s and her husband John’s lives were suddenly changed in 2014 when John fell from their attic 25 feet down their stairwell during a home improvement project. Their story includes John’s inspirational last week of life, his acceptance of the specter of either dying soon or living with severe disabilities, their journey to help establish and stabilize the Traditional Latin Mass in Denver, Colo. with the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, and how receiving Holy Communion at the Latin Mass continues to be the spiritual bedrock of her life. Jodi writes about her and John placing God above each other in their marriage, becoming Restoration Artists, and working on restoration projects such as the Spiral Staircase at the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, N.M. The author currently co-facilitates grief support groups, helping the newly bereaved to journey through their grief and trauma.
