Book SummaryDo you want to be made whole? Jesus still asks us this same question today. Many people feel helpless, hopeless, discouraged and powerless. Learn through true-life stories and inspiring journey of a woman whose broken life has been transformed by God. Through deliverance, healings, miracles and revelations her experiences will convince readers that God can transform their lives as well. This book will open your eyes and your heart to the Redeemer. This book will inspire reflection and release renewal in your faith. It will come alive as your learn of God’s restoration power. Kathy Armstrong’s first revelation that God was real and hears our calls for help came during a carpooling incident with her friend, Nancy. Kathy’s car stalled right in the middle of dangerous traffic, and she barely made it to the side of the road. It was not out of gas, but no matter what she did, it just wouldn’t run anymore. Nancy challenged Kathy to ask God for help, a foreign concept to this author at the time, and Nancy said she would agree with the prayer. With nowhere else to turn, Kathy says, 'My prayer went something like this: Okay God could you please fix my car? Please let me have it for today so I can get to class and work, amen.' It worked. The car started and ran fine for that one day, just as she had asked. Thus began a fascinating and inspirational journey as she found, time and again, how faithful God is when we turn our lives over to Him--COMPLETELY. This true story of one woman’s struggles and lessons in trusting the Lord is amazing in its honesty and depth. Her willingness to be vulnerable in sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly of her life makes the book’s message so much more understandable. The most edifying part is how many times she stood on God’s Word when she had nothing else and no glimmer of hope in the natural, and how He walked right beside her to take her to new places in His will she had never even considered. From beginning a business (after praying and being convinced she was supposed to do so) and believing the money would be there to do it (it was), to being obedient in going to France on a mission project, and all the evidence of God’s hand in that, to becoming a sought-after speaker and lecturer, this is an outstanding story of encouragement and what can happen when we let go and let God! Kathy says when the Lord made it clear she was to share this incredible journey by writing a book, she protested that she was a speaker, not a writer. She found out that excuse did not impress Him in the least so, in submission to the Lord of her life, she sat down and wrote. That’s one thing that makes this book so real and endearing. She does not try to dazzle the reader with her superior knowledge of the craft of writing, she simply tells what happened, how she stumbled like the rest of us, and how having God at the center of any plan saves so much grief and pain. The basic motivational message is not new, except that very few of us seem to believe our God is that interested in the minutia of our daily lives. He is, and she proves it. This lovely woman’s vulnerability in sharing the consequences of listening, and of not listening, to the Lord puts the hard learned lessons on a human level any of us can grasp and believe. Her gift to teach and inspire is a lifeline of hope to the hopeless. Her enthusiasm, faith, and ability to embrace life with gusto and obedience to God are more than the rah-rah of a cheerleader. It is serious enlightenment; a lamp unto your feet to prove the Savior has a path for each of us and will walk with us the whole way. All we need to do is ask, listen, and obey. HE does the rest.I recommend this as an honest and worthwhile read of what one woman shares from the depths of her heart. It is about a journey from lost and hurt to found and healed. The title says it all: Be Made Whole.

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

We are also remin...
