Oder sollten wir eine Raumstation bauen, die über einen langen Zeitraum hält und die wir durch Modifikationen und die Herstellung eigener Produkte und Vorräte kontinuierlich verbessern können, sodass die Teile und Dichtungen des Schiffes in bestimmten Zeitabständen ausgetauscht werden können und die Integrität des Schiffes durch kontinuierliche Modifikationen und Reparaturen verbessert wird, sodass das Schiff weiter in den Weltraum vordringen kann, ohne die gleichen strukturellen Schäden zu erleiden, die bei einer kleineren Stationsstruktur auftreten könnten?
