This fifth story in the series displays just how our little character, Barnabas the donkey, learns the power of gratitude. When we read this story to our children we will help them know how to be happy by being thankful. 'It is not what something is, it is what it means!' The cost of this book is a small price to pay for this powerful lesson on attitude, gratitude and happiness. Thankful people are happy people!About the Author:A native of South Carolina, Harold Michael Phillips is a graduate of Mid-Continent University in Mayfield Kentucky as well as Covington Theological Seminary, Rossville Georgia with a Masters in Religious Education and a Doctors Degree in Theology.  He is presently the Senior Pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Port Deposit Maryland and has been since 1990. He is a recipient of the Salt and Light Award in 2003, given by D. James Kennedy and Coral Ridge Ministries and an honorary Doctors of Divinity Degree from Mid-Continent University. Dr. Phillips has been married to his wife, Corkie, for 43 years, and has five children and fourteen grandchildren.  He also has five horses,  a dachshund named Bella and, yes, a donkey named Barnabas.
