W niniejszym opracowaniu badawczym analizuje się wydajność adresów IP w wersji 4.0 i 6.0. Badana jest wydajność systemu okablowania sieciowego, w tym UTP, STP i światłowodów, pod kątem szybkości transferu plików i niezawodności. Przeanalizowano metodę optymalizacji przepustowości Internetu przy użyciu modułu Link-Load Balancer, która pozwoliła wyeliminować przestoje w dostępie do Internetu. Zbadano wydajność rzeczywistej przepustowości Internetu w całej sieci WAN pod kątem akceptowalnej liczby użytkowników Internetu. Przeanalizowano wydajność różnych kart sieciowych (NIC) pod kątem czasu transmisji danych i przepustowości. Zbadano również wydajność przełącznika sieciowego warstwy 3 pod kątem jego zalet w porównaniu z przełącznikiem typu store-and-forward. Ponadto skutecznie zbadano wydajność działania sieci bezprzewodowej.
