Książka ta stanowi podsumowanie pracy magisterskiej wykonanej w 2013 roku, która stanowi kontynuację badań geomorfologicznych, geologicznych i metalogenicznych regionu Adamaoua. Szczegółowe cele to: przeprowadzenie charakterystyki geomorfologicznej obszarów Ngaoundal i klifu Ngaoundéré; przeprowadzenie charakterystyki mineralogicznej i petrograficznej wspomnianych obszarów; przeprowadzenie charakterystyki metalogenicznej obszaru Ngaoundal; oszacowanie zasobów rudy w złożu Ngaoundal. Pod względem geomorfologicznym na klifie Ngaoundéré wyróżniają się dwie główne jednostki, a w Ngaoundal - trzy. Analizy petrograficzne wykazały na klifie Ngaoundéré gnejsy biotytowe o teksturze granolépidoblastycznej oraz granity biotytowe o teksturze ziarnistej porfiroidalnej; natomiast w Ngaoundal bazalt oliwinowy wykazuje teksturę mikrolityczną porfiroidalną. Różne facje występujące w Ngaoundal to facje guzkowe, masywne, pęcherzykowe, pisolitowe i pseudoguzkowe. W tych lokalizacjach wykorzystano cyfrowy model terenu w celu poprawy jakości danych morfologicznych już dostępnych dla tych obszarów.
