The Machine was forged in a lab, carved deep inside a mountain in the desert. The ex-soldiers were brought in to teach it the art of war. Their fighting experiences were sampled, uploaded into the Machine’s brain. But the resulting code had their harrowing memories too. The Machine was polluted. Driven insane. Driven to murder.
