Sabbani Laxminarayana (né le 1er avril 1960 dans le village deBommakal, district de Karimnagar, Telangana) est un professeurd’anglais à la retraite de Karimnagar. Il est l’auteur de nombreusesoeuvres littéraires en telugu et a publié 36 livres dans différents genres: Il est l’auteur de nombreux ouvrages littéraires en télougou et apublié 36 livres dans différents genres : poésie, fiction, non-fiction etprose. Il écrit en télougou, en hindi et en anglais. En reconnaissance deses trois décennies de carrière universitaire et de ses quatre décenniesde services littéraires, il a reçu de nombreux prix et distinctionsdans les deux États de Telugu, Andhra Pradesh et Telangana, ainsiqu’au niveau national.Il a reçu le prix du meilleur enseignant dugouvernement de l’État de Pennsylvanie en 2013 et le prestigieux prixde l’université P.S. Telugu d’Hyderabad pour la poésie en 2018. Il estlauréat du deuxième prix (T.S.) du Desh Bhakti Geet au niveau del’État dans le cadre du concours 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' (2022).
