About the Badger Family Writers and Avocados on My Spoon:The Badger Family Writers are a family of six from Canada. Life with kids (one boy and three girls), have inspired the creation of these stories. The books emerged from our experience with everyday life. The family emphasizes moments, teachings, discovery and maturity through the use of original songs; we have translated these into childrenís books to share a little bit of our world with you. As such, you will find these books to be very melodic and we would encourage you to sing this book to your child using your, or the child's, own melody. We hope to record this song in the near future.Avocados On My Spoon emerged, when we were brand new parents, from the discovery of Avocados as a beneficial baby's first food. In fact, we would often just ask for a bowl of Avocados when dining out, as an easy way to fulfill some of their early nutrition requirements. This book is meant to be a fun and uplifting way to encourage young kids to eat up their Avocados.
